Our next meeting is on Saturday 14th November and we look forward to seeing you there.

Summer Social: Cream Tea

Our next summer social has now been arranged and following on from last Summer's successful BBQ , we will be mixing it up this year and laying on a traditional Cream Tea. The event, kindly hosted by our  Lodge Secretary, Peter Milsom,  will commence at  2pm  in Portishead.  It's £5 per person  which covers your traditional cream tea and refreshments. You are welcome to bring a bottle of booze  as well if Earl Gray just doesn't cut the mustard for you!

Please do come along and support the event, you will be most welcome! If you would like to attend, please let  W  Bro Peter Milsom know  on  Email secretary@eldonlodge.co.uk or by telephone 07767 216103.

Skittles Night

A big thank you to  all the brethren who attended the Skittles Night earlier this month and in particular to our secretary Peter Milsom provided excellent catering for the event. The evening was well attended with support from Brethren of Gordano  Lodge, WoodSpring Lodge and even as far afield as Admiral Blake  Lodge (Bridgewater).  I woud say a good time was had by all but I am aware of at least 3 brethren who were thoroughly outscored by their  wives, myself included (I haven't heard the last of it..... )

Congratulations to  the Mens Champion:  Norman Pimm (Eldon Lodge) and to the Ladies Champion: Angela Salton!

137 Years of History on display!

At our February and March meetings there will be a display of some interesting items, documents and photographs from Eldon Lodge's history stretching back over the last 137 years. This has been very kindly curated by our Secretary W. Bro Peter Milsom and provides a fascinating insight into how not only how the lodge has progressed over the years but also how life has changed over the last century in the local area.

It is hoped that this display will be of interest to both Eldon members and our visitors alike. If anyone has any questions regarding the display or the lodge history then please contact  secretary Peter Milsom on secretary@eldonlodge.co.uk

Message from W Bro Keith Hearn, Honourary Member of Eldon Lodge 1755
